I was fortunate to complete internships at Aster DM Healthcare, a leading hospital network in India, as well as a research project under the guidance of Dr Abheepsa Mishra at Novo Nordisk. It helped me develop a strong foundation in biomedical engineering through clinical exposure at Aster and hone research skills in molecular biology with Dr Abheepsa. I can now see the major impact of biomedical engineering in improving human life.

As part of the Makers Asylum Innovation School, I collaborated with a diverse team to engineer a 3D-printed, motorized prosthetic leg for dogs. Tackling challenges like noisy sensor data, failed prints, and language barriers, we combined biomedical innovation, empathy, and resilience to restore mobility and dignity to animals thereby proving that impactful engineering thrives on collaboration and perseverance.

Genetic and Epigenetic Features of Cancer Stem Cells: Implications in Lymphoma

I completed a research project on cancer stem cells in lymphoma through the Lumiere Research Scholar Program, under the guidance of a PhD candidate at the University of Pennsylvania. Earning an A+ and academic credit, the experience sharpened my analytical skills and deepened my commitment to translational cancer research aimed at improving treatment outcomes and overcoming therapy resistance.

ArtReach is a youth-led initiative dedicated to making art accessible to children from underserved communities. Through curated workshops, collaborative murals, and storytelling sessions, I’ve helped over 200 children explore creativity as a form of healing and self-expression. By partnering with schools and NGOs, ArtReach fosters inclusive spaces where every child’s voice matters. This project reflects my belief that art is not just a medium—but a powerful tool for empowerment, empathy, and social change.

Beyond academics, I led IGNITE and OKINAMI, managing cultural fests with 3,500+ participants and ₹6.5 lakh in revenue. As FMPC President, I taught advanced medical topics and built a global mentorship network. I founded The BioLens newsletter, mentored IGCSE students, and performed in school events—blending leadership, scholarship, and creativity to foster impact across science, arts, and community.
